How Jambo Web Solutions uses information from this website. Updated 27 September 2026.
Who is responsible?
Jambo Web Solutions is responsible for the personal information you send through this website. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact Ben at ben@jambowebsolutions.com.
When you make an enquiry
The contact form collects your name, email address, your message and service interest, plus your business name and phone number if you choose to provide them. This information is used to respond, understand your requirements and prepare a proposal. It is not a marketing subscription.
The basis for handling a request about a potential purchase is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. General correspondence and keeping the service secure are handled for legitimate business interests.
Where information goes
The website and enquiry service are hosted by Hostinger. Form submissions are sent to Jambo’s business email and a private server copy is retained temporarily to help prevent lost enquiries. Hosting and email providers process information to deliver those services. Information may be processed in the locations used by those providers, under their applicable data-protection arrangements.
Security and retention
Connections use HTTPS. The form limits repeated submissions and uses a hidden spam field. Short-lived, hashed network identifiers are used for rate limiting; these form-security records expire after 24 hours. Temporary server copies of enquiries are removed after 90 days during routine form processing. Email correspondence is kept while the enquiry or customer relationship needs it, and reviewed for deletion when no longer required. Records needed for accounting or a legal obligation may be kept longer.
Client agreements and payments
Private project pages hold your name, business, email, billing address, agreed scope, contract versions, payment stages and care terms. When you accept, we record your name, email, the exact agreement version, date and time, network address and browser information, together with any website sign-off and payment reference. These records help us deliver the contract, keep accounting records and resolve questions or disputes. Agreements and acceptance records are retained while required for the client relationship, accounting and legal claims, with deletion reviewed when those purposes no longer apply.
Stripe processes checkout and payment details; PayPal also processes them if you choose PayPal. Jambo receives payment status and references, not your full card details. See Stripe’s privacy information and PayPal’s privacy information. Keep your private project link secure: anyone you share it with may access its agreement and payment records. These pages use an essential session cookie for security and do not add advertising tracking.
Cookies, local storage and server logs
This website does not load advertising trackers or visitor analytics. It stores your animation preference locally in your browser under “jambo-motion”. You can change it with the motion button or remove it through your browser settings. The hosting provider may keep technical access and security logs, including IP addresses, to operate and protect the website.
Links to other websites
Portfolio links open external websites, each with its own privacy practices. Preview concepts are clearly labelled. This site does not embed third-party video players, social feeds or remote fonts.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or, where applicable, a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights depend on the circumstances. Email Ben to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
